Chemical peels are topically applied acids that aid in the restoration and rejuvenation of the skins surface. Our TCA & Retinol Peels are highly developed peels that allow for the DERModality™ trained Esthetican or Medical Professional to gain predictable results with little or no down-time. This process is an industry unique formula of application. TCA is an amazing chemical that penetrates deeper than Glycolic Acid while allowing for measureable and controllable effects to the skin. Most chemicals preclude olive and darker skin types. Virtually all DERModality™ Peels (including TCA Formula 2) have been developed for ALL SKIN TYPES. Our peels allow for a uniform and controlled shedding of several layers of dead skin. Depending on the nature and depth of the peel, a significant number of layers can be exfoliated allowing new growth to be exposed, creating a fresh vibrant appearance.

DERModality™ peels were developed over a lengthy clinical trial period. The formula "creator" is one of the leading medical & esthetics trainers in the US. She was the lead trainer for the Obaji Blue Peel over a 6 year period. For the same number of years the foundation of our peels were used and practiced in one of 4 FDA clinics in the US. The design was to provide several modalities of aggressive peels balanced by protocol to formulation to offer the greatest value to exfoliation with the least amount of down-time. The clinical studies were then put to test in an ethnic skin culture for a number of years thus allowing many of our peels to be perfected for most SKIN TYPES.
